How bởi vì I setup the TL-WR740N repeater to lớn connect a device through ethernet cable (cat5e)? (Buying a wi-fi usb dongle is not an option, for now ;)

Here are some settings.

Main router: HuaweiHG8145V

IP address: 192.168.1.1

Repeater router: TL-WR740N

Default IP address: 192.168.0.1

I have changed TL-WR740N repeater lớn 192.168.1.102

And then I gave the connected PC this setting:

IP address: 192.168.1.103

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Default gateway: 192.168.1.102

Then it says unidentified network, no internet access. (Same result with Automatic IP address)

Please help.

If the internet is still not working when you connect a phone or máy vi tính to the WR740N, please confirm the below details:

1. Kiểm tra what is the IP address on your phone or laptop.

2. Connect the phone or máy vi tính to the host wireless network of the HuaweiHG8145V, kiểm tra the IP address as well, and compare the two. If the IP address is in the same IP range and the default gateway is the same, which means the mạng internet should be good, you may try to lớn restart the modem & the WR740N & confirm again.

Kevin_Z for a super fast reply. I did those things but sadly, it doesn"t work. The máy tính that is wireless-ly connected lớn WR740N repeater has an internet, the cabled Desktop PC does not. Here is the address of the Desktop PC: (Obtained automatically) IP Address: 169.254.252.40 Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0 default gateway: -------nothing What vì you think?
